We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of product design and a keen sense of product management. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and the ability to think strategically about product development and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strong communication skills and to be able to articulate design decisions internally and externally, self-governing and working autonomously
- Partner with product management, engineering, and other key parts of the business to drive product strategy and design and ship product experiences that deliver great outcomes to both our customers and our business.
- Conduct user research including concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions, discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys
- Create compelling visual designs that align to company and product brand standards
- Participate in work sessions with partners and users to define important design goals and requirements
- Document and communicate process, research, and learnings to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
- Apply, maintain, and build upon design systems to ensure consistent designs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience in the design field
- Proficiency in design, prototyping, and presentation software such as Figma
- Experience with design systems and a clear understanding of how they provide value
- Must have strong organizational, technical and creative problem-solving skills
