Frontend Developer (React/Next.js)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mid/Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team at RFactorial. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain modern frontend applications using cutting-edge TypeScript technologies and frameworks.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong frontend expertise, at least 3 years of professional experience, and a solid understanding of software engineering principles. You should be able to take ownership of features from design to deployment and build scalable, maintainable user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable UI components and frontend architectures.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability.
Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code.
Contribute to improving engineering standards, frontend tooling, and development workflows.
Collaborate to translate product and business requirements into technical solutions.
Contribute to backend-related discussions and implementations when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
Solid experience with:
- React
- Next.js
- Tailwind CSS
Strong understanding of modern frontend applications and component-driven development.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, or Express.
Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Good communication and documentation skills.
