شرح موقعیت شغلی

Job Purpose

A Growth Analyst is responsible for examining large sets of data to identify trends, develop insights, and draw meaningful conclusions related to the user base. Such insights are then used in order to infer the initiatives that will drive the pursuit of the Company’s targets. The Growth Analyst will be responsible for managing the user funnel of the company, executing activities related to acquisition, activation, engagement and retention of users. To grow the funnel sustainably, the Growth Analyst relies on data-driven execution and relies on A/B testing to determine the company’s long-term growth activities. Additionally, the Growth Analyst often collaborates with cross-functional teams to communicate their findings effectively and contributes to the development of data-driven strategies for business growth and improvement. This role involves utilising various analytical tools and techniques to interpret data and generate reports that help the business make informed decisions.



The purpose of the role is to build a healthy user funnel that generates positive ROI on allocated resources. The outcome of the role should be to help the Company get closer to achieving product-market-fit (PMF). The Growth Specialist is someone that enjoys solving detailed problems at the same time as taking a step back to recognise business trends and patterns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a growth mindset and will have strong problem-solving skills. They should enjoy working with unknown unknowns and have an insatiable appetite for learning and development through an iterative process.




Key Accountabilities 

Data analysis



  • Gathering and organizing data from various tools and sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
  • Visualising and presenting the data into digestible dashboards and using such dashboards to infer insights and trends related to the user base.
  • Using statistical theories, analysis and tools to interpret data sets, identify trends and derive meaningful conclusions.
  • Translating the trends and insights into growth strategies and tactics, with the aim of building a healthy user funnel and reaching product-market-fit.
  • Reviewing data sets of other teams, recommending business improvements across across other parts of the funnel.
  • Reporting findings, analyses, and recommendations through clear and concise reports and presentations, documenting findings using the knowledge management platform.

Hypothesis validation



  • Using design thinking or any other data-driven approach to derive insights from users, synthesise the insights and identify core opportunity or problem statements.
  • Following a hypothesis-driven approach to test strategies and tactics to seize the opportunities or solve the problems identified.
  • Relying on a data-driven execution by A/B testing all previously untested and unclear ideas and activities.
  • Documenting the results of problem statements and hypotheses using project management tools and continuously iterating the approach to improve results.

Optimizing Tools



  • Utilising various technologies and data analysis software including Python, SQL, Metabase and Power BI to build funnels and dashboards.
  • Evaluating and recommending new data tools and technologies for improved analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year working in data analysis positions
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in general
