About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with in-depth expertise in managing and optimizing SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-availability solutions, backup and restore management, performance optimization, and automation using scripting tools. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities

High Availability and Disaster Recovery

Manage and configure Always On Availability Groups (AG) for high availability and failover.

Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.

Backup and Restore Management

Develop and oversee regular database backup and restore strategies.

Ensure backup integrity and recovery processes align with business continuity plans.

 Database Monitoring and Performance Optimization

Monitor database performance and proactively address issues to ensure optimal functionality.

Perform tasks such as indexing, refactoring, and statistics management to improve query performance.

Data Partitioning and Maintenance

Implement data partitioning strategies to optimize database performance and manage large datasets efficiently.

 SQL Expertise

Apply in-depth knowledge of SQL Server database architecture and functionalities.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.

Qualifications

Experience

3years as a SQL Server DBA or in a similar role+.

Proven expertise in Always On AG, and failover configurations.

Strong hands-on experience with backup and restore operations, monitoring tools, and optimization techniques.

 Technical Skills

Proficient in SQL Server database management, partitioning, and query optimization.

Solid understanding of indexing strategies and statistics management.

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
