Job Description

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join GolGift and work closely with our Product and Engineering teams.
Someone who can take a product problem, understand the user and the context behind it, explore possible solutions, and turn those ideas into a clear and usable experience.
What you’ll do
* Work with Product and Engineering to understand problems, define requirements, and design solutions from early ideas through implementation.
* Take part in product discovery and help turn user needs, business goals, and product constraints into clear design decisions.
* Talk to users when needed, run usability tests, and use what you learn to improve the product.
* Look at product data and user behavior to understand where users struggle and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs in Figma.
* Test ideas before investing too much in them and iterate based on user feedback, data, and technical constraints.
* Think through the full experience, including different states, edge cases, errors, and responsive behavior rather than designing only the happy path.
* Work with existing components and help us gradually build and maintain a practical design system.
* Stay involved during development, review what gets implemented, and work with engineers to resolve design and usability issues.
* Look at the product after release and help us understand whether the solution actually improved the experience.
What we’re looking for
* Around 3+ years of experience working on digital products as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer.
* A portfolio that shows how you approached real product problems, not just final screens.
* Strong working knowledge of Figma, including components, Auto Layout, variants, prototyping, and reusable design patterns.
* A good understanding of user flows, interaction design, information architecture, responsive design, and common UX principles.
* Experience with user research and usability testing, even if research was not your full-time responsibility.
* Comfortable using both qualitative feedback and quantitative data to make design decisions.
* Able to explain why a design decision was made, what alternatives were considered, and what trade-offs were involved.
* Comfortable working directly with Product Managers and Engineers and discussing technical or business constraints.
* Able to work on problems that may not always arrive with a perfectly defined brief or process.
