Here at Fintranet, we are excited to welcome a talented and enthusiastic Senior Backend Developer to join a fast-growing FinTech Start-Up headquartered in the heart of global FinTech advancements, the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will help us design, develop, and maintain massive infrastructure supporting solutions targeting MSBs (Money Service Businesses) and other financial operatives located in EMEA. The right person will not only be working to build and spearhead the key functionaries for Fintranet but be at the forefront of all things Backend.

What You'll be using (Our Tech Stack)

C# and .Net Core Latest version
Entity Framework Core
Database development: Code First and Database First Approach
SQL and Non-SQL Database Pattern
Could base infrastructure

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
Write clean code to develop functional web applications
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Employ cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Gather and address technical and design requirements
Write technical documentation for the work produced
Provide training and support to internal teams
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
Follow emerging technologies

Who You Are (Requirements)

Exposure to developing Web-based applications
Strong in .Net, NET Core 3.1 and above, C#, ASP.Net, T-SQL
Strong Development experience in RESTful API development
Exposure to writing with Entity Framework
Strong Object-Oriented Programming principles and SOLID principal
Produce the testable code and write unit and integration tests
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Able to adopt coding best practices and standards
Able to clearly document user stories/use cases, functional specification and design
Ability to interpret architecture and provide implementation documents
Able to document details of functionality, design and architecture of a component.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Willingness to work outside the comfort zone and learn new tools and technologies
Confident in the English language

It'll be nice: (nice to have)

Familiar with Domain-Driven Design and CQRS pattern
Understanding of Azure services and deploying and debugging cloud-based applications 5 years (or above) experience in backend development
Have a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have past experience working as a systems or support engineer or technical architect. You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions. You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises to create world-class solutions.
Experience designing, building, refactoring or operating large-scale and impactful IT projects - either on-premises or in the cloud.
Ability to write user stories and technical shapping Business.
