Job Title:

Embedded system specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for an expert in firmware programming using C/C++ to develop solutions for IoT systems.  The job involves the development of firmware, drivers for connected devices and sensors as well as troubleshooting and performance, integration, and interoperability testing. The application of the firmware includes industrial IoT and home automation systems. The solutions are developed on open hardware platforms. Source codes are controlled via Git and automatic testing and packaging are deployed for CI/CD.

 

Role and responsibilities:

·         Design and implementation of firmware architecture for embedded systems, based on ARM CORTEX.

 

What you MUST have:

·         Bachelor or Master’s degree in electronics engineering or related fields,

·         Knowledge in concepts, principles, analysis, and experience in programming for embedded peripherals firmware, including:

o   Data exchange protocols: SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, ETHERNET, USB, etc. (Physical layer to Application layer)

o   Embedded peripherals: ADC, DAC, DMA, FMC, DFSDM, Hardware Semaphore, etc.

 

·         Solid knowledge of C programming language (knowledge of C++ as an object-oriented programming language is a plus),

·         Experience in electronic design tools (Altium Designer/Cadence),

·         Experience in AVR and ARM Cortex-M series Microcontroller firmware programming,

·         Teamwork spirit and good communication skills, 

·         Highly motivated spirit to learn and determined to solve problems with a positive “CAN DO” attitude,

 

Plus Factors:

Having Experienced in:

-          Real-Time Operating System firmware programming,

-          Firmware programming for Raspberry Pi/ Beaglebone / NanoPi / Orange Pi and similar SoC boards, in C/C++ language,

-          Analysis and design of analog electronic circuits

-          DSP/ CPLD / FPGA devices programming,

-          Firmware programming for Linux host

and knowledge in 

-          instrumentation electronics,

-          Computer architecture,

-          Version Control Systems like GIT,

-           

are plus factors in employment.
