Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team on a remote, project-based contract. In this role, you will design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring an exceptional user experience across our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to bring your designs to life within defined project scopes and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- User Research: Conduct remote user research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points. Translate insights into design solutions that enhance user satisfaction.

- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and iterate on design concepts. Gather feedback from stakeholders and make necessary improvements.

- UI Design: Develop high-quality user interfaces aligning with brand guidelines and best practices. Create visually stunning layouts, icons, and graphics suitable for each project.

- UX Design: Craft user journeys, information architecture, and interaction flows that optimize user engagement and task completion for specific projects.

- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct remote usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of designs. Implement findings to refine and enhance the user experience.

- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders in a remote environment to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet project objectives.

- Documentation: Create design specifications, style guides, and design assets for development teams, ensuring smooth project handoffs.

- Stay Current: Continuously update your knowledge of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to improve your skills and the quality of your designs on each project.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in a remote work environment.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in virtual settings.

- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality designs.

- Familiarity with Material UI and the ability to incorporate Material Design principles into your work.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.

- Experience working in financial markets is a plus.
