Join our team as a Senior System Administrator where you’ll drive key initiatives across our core infrastructure, virtualization ecosystem, and cloud environments. We are looking for someone who brings strong expertise in enterprise virtualization platforms, multi-operating system management (Linux and Windows), and a proven ability to leverage infrastructure automation tools. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between core systems engineering and enterprise IT operations, ensuring seamless communication within our team and effective interactions with international clients.

Key Objectives
- Virtualization & Hypervisor Expertise: Design, scale, and maintain enterprise virtualization ecosystems (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox) to optimize hardware utilization and workload isolation.
- Cloud & Hybrid Integration: Manage and optimize cloud systems (Azure/AWS) and bridge them seamlessly with on-premises infrastructure for robust hybrid environments.
- Multi-OS Administration: Oversee deployment, configuration, and security hardening across diverse operating systems, including multiple Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Advanced Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting infrastructure (such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix) to track system health, capacity, and performance metrics.
- Infrastructure Automation: Leverage configuration management and automation tools (like Ansible, PowerShell, or Terraform) to standardize system provisioning and maintenance.
- Team & Client Communication: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, and international clients to understand infrastructure requirements and deliver tailored, highly available solutions.
- Security, Backup & Disaster Recovery: Enforce strict security baseline practices, manage automated backup strategies (e.g., Veeam), and maintain disaster recovery (DR) preparedness.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Deploy, patch, and maintain operating systems, firmware, and hypervisors across enterprise environments to ensure maximum system stability and uptime.
- Provide Level 3 technical support with a focus on resolving deep infrastructure, network, and storage bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain high-availability systems, automated failovers, and backup workflows to mitigate risks and enhance data retention.
- Create and optimize scripts for system automation and routine maintenance tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex production outages, system errors, or performance degradations, leading effective technical troubleshooting sessions.
- Create and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations on infrastructure capacity planning, system uptime, and proposed architecture improvements.
- Ensure all system updates, user access controls, and network configurations adhere to established corporate security best practices and compliance standards.
- Facilitate clear and proactive technical communication within the internal engineering team and with international clients.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar enterprise systems engineering role.
- Deep architectural and hands-on expertise with enterprise virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Strong proficiency in administering both Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure services (Azure or AWS) and hybrid-cloud networking.
- Experience setting up and fine-tuning advanced monitoring stacks, particularly Grafana and Prometheus.
- Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack).
- Solid understanding of core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) and storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative team spirit under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, essential for effective team and client interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Network Systems.
- Advanced programming/scripting skills in Python or Go.
- Experience in large-scale corporate environments with a focus on high-availability architectures and customer-centric engineering solutions.
