Job Description:
Install, configure, and manage Linux servers
Manage and maintain Linux infrastructure
Perform cybersecurity and system auditing tasks
Troubleshoot and resolve server issues
Optimize server performance
Document processes and procedures
Monitor system performance and report to management
Collaborate with other members of the IT team
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems
Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP, and NTP
Proficiency with Linux commands and tools
Proficiency in monitoring tools such as PRTG
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and system auditing
Experience working with Ansible
Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
Experience with CI/CD
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Hands-on experience with MySQL is a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Valid Linux certifications such as LPIC or Red Hat
Proven track record of success in Linux system administration
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to quality and accuracy
