We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with a strong background in API development to join our team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software applications, focusing on designing, implementing, and testing APIs. You should be able to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications with a focus on designing, implementing, and testing APIs using TDD methodology
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality standards are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in Python applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Python developments, TDD practices, and best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in developing software applications using Python and TDD
- Proficiency in Python programming language and knowledge of key concepts like functions, classes, modules, and libraries
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and testing APIs using web frameworks such as Flask and Django Rest Framework
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases for data storage and retrieval
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
