As a Data Analyst at A Bank, you will be at the heart of our decision-making process, leveraging data to drive strategic initiatives and improve our banking services. You will transform complex data into actionable insights, providing critical analysis to support our product development, marketing strategies, and overall business operations. Your expertise will help us optimize performance and enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Ability to mine enormous volumes of data and pull out key insights.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Developing data models for ongoing audience segmentation, benchmarking, trending and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Work on multiple projects with great attention to details and high awareness of business priorities.
- Utilize statistical methods to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Metabase, Superset or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques is a plus.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or any related field from an accredited institution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of core marketing strategy concepts and business models.
- Experienced in data mining and using databases in a business environment and developing insights across various areas of customer-related data.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and tools (Python or R)
- A clear passion for learning new business analysis techniques independently and continuously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that enable you to explain complex insights with clarity and precision.
