Talent development specialists are responsible for identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions & tools that help individuals grow in alignment with organizational goals & strategies. Also, this person helps with design, development, implementation & evaluation of processes related to talent & leadership development.
Description
Designs & implements skill gap analysis.
Design, plan, and implement various training programs, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning courses.
Evaluates the success of development solutions, tools & processes and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
Collects, maintains & analyses talent & leadership development data (e.g. training activities, attendance, training satisfaction & effectiveness, results of tests and assessments, etc.).
Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees.
Helping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems.
Keeping up-to-date with developments in HR & learning & development field.
Having an understanding of adult learning methodologies and related knowledge.
Implements talent management and succession planning programs to help with business excellence and continuity.
Develop policies & documents necessary for talent & leadership development.
Manage relationships with development vendors, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
Assist in the job promotion process by assessing the leadership skills of candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and leadership competencies.

Knowledge of key learning and development field concepts & methodologies functions and processes.
Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficiency in using LMS to create, track, and manage training initiatives.
E-Learning Development Tools: Skilled in using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar for developing interactive e-learning content.
Data Analysis Software: Ability to use data analysis tools to measure training effectiveness and make informed decisions.
Project Management Software: Familiarity with project management tools to oversee training projects from conception to completion.
Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint for creating training materials and reports.
Webinar Platforms: Experience in hosting webinars using platforms like Skyroom & Microsoft Teams.
Minimum academic and professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field required.
Experience:
· At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
