Job Description:

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer. This role requires a deep understanding of experience design for digital products and services of all kinds. This UX/UI Designer will play a key role in defining the user experience and designing digital features and products. We are looking for a talented designer who is interested in and capable of bridging the gap between UI design and front-end development. Development experience is NOT required.

 

Position Requirements: 

  • 3+ years’ experience with user experience and human-centered design including market and competitive analysis, user flows and journeys, card sorting, information architecture and site maps, user testing including survey and interview preparation and facilitation, data analysis, wireframes, and refined concept development for client presentation.
  • experienced as a Product Designer or similar UX-related role for the web/mobile
  • Deeply analytic, critical thinking skills are a must. Able to identify, collect, and analyze the information and data needed to inform the UX/UI and development processes and communicate research findings to internal and external teams clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working with technical teams, web-based tools and concepts such as HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal and WordPress.
  • A strong creative portfolio that reflects a variety of mediums and disciplines.
  • Visual design skills a plus.
  • Creative strategy expertise in solution development from concept to delivery for a variety of clients and projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standard tools and platforms such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Zeplin, Marvel, In vision, and others.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in digital design, graphic design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent judgement in planning, critical thinking, design thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting, coordination, management, and communication in a fast-paced environment that values creativity and flexibility.
  • Excellent time management with ability to handle a large volume of work with tight deadlines independently and proactively to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
  • Able to collaborate with a team, as well as being able to work autonomously
  • Able to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Passionate about being an integral part of solving complex problems with simple, easy-to-use solutions
  • Comfortable giving and receiving critical design feedback
  • Committed to meeting deadlines and skilled at handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects
