We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time Security and Penetration Tester Engineer to join our fast-paced and growing team. As a Security and Penetration Tester Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments of our organization's softwares, identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation strategies to enhance our overall cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration tests (ethical hacking) on our organization's software and servers to identify and exploit security vulnerabilities
- Analyze and report on security findings, including the severity of the vulnerabilities and recommended remediation steps
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends
- Develop and implement security testing methodologies and tools
- Collaborate with other security professionals to improve our organization's cybersecurity posture
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in security testing and penetration testing
- Extensive knowledge of security vulnerabilities and attack methodologies
- Proficient in various penetration testing tools and techniques
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and application security
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
