We are looking for a blockchain developer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting an enterprise distributed blockchain-based network especially Hyperledger and /or Ethereum. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing the requirements, designing a blockchain solution around a certain business model, and the building and launching of a blockchain network

This position is divided into two roles and you have to choose between network manager (building blockchain network and all network-based operations on Hyperledger) and smart contract operator (developing the smart contract and deploying on Ethereum main-net and maintaining chaincodes on Hyperledger peers and channels

:Responsibilities

Develop new product features and applications within an agile environment
Research, design, develop, and test blockchain technologies
Brainstorm and help evaluate applications for new tools and technologies as they continually evolve
Leads technical planning, user story creation, technical acceptance, creation and coding of projects
Build PoCs quickly to enable rapid prototyping of ideas for both internal stockholders and external clients
Maintain and extend the current client- and server-side applications responsible for integration and business logic
Be involved in the global blockchain community—work on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals via contributions
Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones

 

:Skills And Qualifications

Proficient understanding of permissioned and/or permissionless blockchains
Strong software development background especially backend development
Proficiency in the NodeJs development (Knowing Go language will be a bonus
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Strong grasp of English communication skills especially in reading and writing

 

:Extra Points
Prior development in blockchain technology is a high plus (familiarity with Ethereum or Hyperledger or other DLT developments
Self-taught experience of using IBM blockchain and/or Ethereum is a plus
IBM Hyperledger projects understanding preferred due to the breadth of customer environments this technology brings
Experience working with open-source projects
Familiarity with basic cryptography
Familiarity with basic P2P networks
