Remote Sensing Intern

About the Internship

Mazraeh is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Remote Sensing Intern who is eager to learn and build a career in geospatial technologies and data-driven analytics.

If you are interested in satellite imagery analysis, geospatial data, time-series analysis, artificial intelligence, and developing analytical tools for real-world agricultural applications, this internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing field.

During this internship, you will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real-world projects involving remote sensing, geospatial analytics, and smart agriculture solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist in processing and analyzing satellite imagery
Support geospatial and time-series data analysis tasks
Participate in data collection, preparation, and quality control processes
Contribute to the development of remote sensing analytical models
Assist in integrating satellite, weather, and ground-based datasets
Document workflows, methodologies, and project outcomes
Support research and development projects related to smart agriculture

Required Qualifications

Final-year student or graduate in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, or related fields
Basic knowledge of Python programming
Understanding of remote sensing concepts, satellite data, and their applications
Familiarity with data analysis, image processing, and geospatial analytics
Basic understanding of Data Mining and Machine Learning concepts
Strong interest in applying AI and Big Data technologies to remote sensing
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative environment
Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and teamwork skills

Mandatory Requirement

Academic background in Remote Sensing or a closely related field from a recognized university

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Google Earth Engine
Experience with GIS and satellite image processing software
Familiarity with Python libraries for data science and machine learning
Participation in academic, research, or personal projects related to remote sensing

Internship Details

Internship duration: 3 months
Potential employment opportunity upon successful completion of the internship
Internship compensation is negotiable and ranges from 50% up to the official labor law salary level
Practical training and mentorship in remote sensing, geospatial analytics, and AI applications
