AI/ML Engineer (Data & MLOps)

About the Role

Mazraeh, an AgriTech and AgriFinTech platform developed by Lotus Future Studies, is looking for a talented Machine Learning & Data Engineer to join our growing technology team.

We leverage agricultural data, geospatial analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to build innovative solutions for farmers, agricultural businesses, and financial institutions.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working across the entire machine learning lifecycle—from data preparation and model development to deployment, monitoring, and production systems.

Knowledge-Based Military Service Program (Amrieh) is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and data-driven solutions
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and data processing workflows
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve predictive and analytical models
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver AI-powered features
  • Deploy and maintain machine learning models in production environments
  • Contribute to MLOps practices, automation, and monitoring
  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets to generate business insights
  • Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
  • Prepare technical documentation and maintain development standards

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Strong understanding of Data Science concepts and methodologies
  • Experience with common Data Science and Machine Learning libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience building and evaluating machine learning models
  • Experience deploying machine learning solutions into production environments
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and best practices
  • Strong understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience working with Redis
  • Familiarity with Django framework
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and system design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms and scalable infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies
  • Experience with workflow orchestration and automation tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with geospatial data, remote sensing, or GIS technologies
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
  • Familiarity with agricultural technologies (AgriTech) is a plus
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) 
  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) 
  • Experience with AI Agents and Agentic Workflows 
  • Familiarity with Vector Databases 
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
