The Product Designer at ALDataset plays a pivotal role in architecting intuitive and innovative user experiences for our cutting-edge AI-driven platforms and applications. This position collaborates intensively with AI Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams to pinpoint user pain points, architect scalable AI-infused solutions, and deliver seamless, high-fidelity experiences from ideation and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and iterative optimization in a dynamic AI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead End-to-End Design Ownership: Spearhead design projects from initial problem definition and exploratory research to final delivery, production rollout, post-launch analytics, and iterative enhancements, ensuring alignment with ALDataset's AI-centric vision.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner intimately with AI Product Managers, ML Engineers, and Data Architects to ideate solutions, delineate project scopes, and harmonize user-centric requirements with business objectives, algorithmic constraints, and computational feasibility.
  • Complex Flow and Scenario Design: Conceptualize and iterate on intricate user journeys, multi-modal interactions, and adaptive AI scenarios (e.g., handling variable data inputs, predictive modeling outputs, and real-time feedback loops), distilling algorithmic complexity into elegant, intuitive, and accessible interfaces.
  • Insight-Driven Design Translation: Synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research, behavioral analytics, A/B testing data, and AI model performance metrics into robust, scalable, and human-centered design artifacts that prioritize ethical AI principles, bias mitigation, and inclusivity.
  • Research Planning and Execution: Orchestrate and execute multifaceted research methodologies, including in-depth user interviews, heuristic evaluations, eye-tracking studies, usability testing, and cohort analysis, to empirically validate hypotheses, uncover latent needs, and guide data-informed design decisions.
  • High-Fidelity Interface and Pattern Development: Craft polished user interfaces, micro-interactions, and reusable design patterns that adhere to ALDataset’s AI product ethos and brand guidelines, incorporating elements like responsive data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and AI explainability features.
  • Design System Evolution: Actively contribute to, refine, and expand our enterprise-grade design system and component library, promoting atomic design principles for consistency, modularity, and scalability across diverse AI products, from edge computing apps to cloud-based ML pipelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 2+ years in product design (encompassing UX/UI/IXD), with a focus on AI/ML-enabled products, data-intensive applications, or high-volume platforms involving predictive analytics and intelligent systems.
  • Portfolio Excellence: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing full-cycle ownership of AI-related projects, demonstrating advanced problem-solving, shipped products (e.g., AI dashboards, recommendation engines, or computer vision interfaces), and measurable impact on user satisfaction or business metrics.
  • Core Design Foundations: Profound expertise in human-centered design (HCD) methodologies, interaction design paradigms, information architecture, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and cognitive psychology principles applied to AI contexts.
