We are looking for an agile coach to enable our teams to work effectively. An agile coach that can help us evolve and inspire our cross-functional technology teams.


Agile Coaches in Alibaba are empowered to drive continuous improvements and challenge the team’s current way of working, encouraging experimentation, crafting a high focus, monitoring the team health, using a variety of techniques including change management, product development practices, and individual coaching and mentoring.

Some examples of what you will do


  • Conduct Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Demos and Retrospective effectively.
  • Build high performing teams that deliver value and quality products with enthusiasm and passion.
  • Establishing a continuous delivery process in order to deliver value to the market frequently.
  • Actively support teams to deliver value more effectively.
  • Grow a healthy, collaborative, continuously improving product development culture.
  • Coach and give enriching feedback to people, including senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with agile coach peers to spread effective ways of working across the organisation.
  • Coach teams and individuals facing challenges related to how they work together.
  • Resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Create awareness and visualise the team capacity, progress in an easy-to-digest way.
  • Design and facilitate larger workshops for the purpose of education or collaboration.

Who You Are


  • You have a big passion for creating a team out of a group.
  • You have a deep understanding of communication, group dynamics and coaching, and are able to help teams develop trust and safety.
  • You are knowledgeable and passionate about software product development.
  • You excel at facilitating, coaching, and mentoring teams and leaders towards rapidly delivering high impact, high-quality software.
  • You are expert in Agile and Lean methodologies and have experience in implementing them in development teams.
  • Encourage a culture of openness and transparency.
  • You are truly a “do-er”, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to help the team.
  • You are comfortable with and can help guide others to deal with situations of conflict, ambiguity, and uncertainty.
  • You are able to adapt your approach and communication style to fit varying contexts and situational needs.
  • You are not afraid to raise issues and inspire change and continuous improvement.
  • You care about learning new things and improving existing challenges.
