Scope


  • Accountable for the design and implementation of a big data architecture.
  • Spends most of the time to Design, build and launch data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in a production environment.
  • Maintain and support existing processes running in production.
  • Listens and learns in architecture discussions, participates in discussions to form solutions to systems that are directly related to their area of focus.

  • Interfaces with other functional teams on aspects of the feature or sub-system.
  • Becoming visible across major engineering communities within company.
  • Provides support to others, particularly talented engineers who work on the same team.

  • Design, build and launch efficient & reliable data pipelines to move and transform data.
  • Strong Knowledge of Big Data architectures and distributed data processing frameworks.
  • Experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance(ability to transform raw, noisy log data into useful business fact tables).
  • Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Hive.
  • Distributed SQL Query Engine for Big Data.
  • Apache Kafka and ZooKeeper.
    workflow management tools: Airflow, Azkaban, etc.
  • Solid RDBMS operational knowledge with outstanding SQL skills.
  • RDBMS Performance Optimization(index, vacuum, profiling, high availability and clustering).
  • programming experience in building high quality software in Python or java (high-performance, reliable and maintainable code).
    Experience with Linux, Docker, swarm, Git and deployment automation tools.
