The community liaison specialist, as a member of the product team enables Alibaba UGC platform to work with the most inspiring storytellers around the country and empowers them to tell stories. The community liaison specialist will use a diverse set of tools and tactics to acquire new writers and experience explorers. While having a hands-on experience with the community, community liaison specialist will bring a sharp and valuable data/insight/knowledge of the product users’ behavior and demands. –
Duties
– Attract leads and acquire members for the community of writers using diverse channels
– Act as a point of contact and build relationship with the community of writers (freelances, influencers, affiliate partners etc.)
– Holding community meetings, workshops and events – keeping integrated and consistent communication with the community of writers
– Work closely with the marketing team to enhance the performance of acquisition process
– Motivate, incentivize and empower partners to grow the community of writers
– Work closely with the product team to improve the platform
– Manage contracts with partners and contributors – Manage and control payments and commissions of affiliate partners
– Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
– Provide weekly/monthly reports on performance (acquisition, leads and community engagement)
Requirements:
– Knowledge of community building and public relations
– Working knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics
– Strong writing skills in Farsi
– Diverse network of industry players (influencers, KOL’s, writer, creators)
– Open to work with large number of writers – In-depth understanding of industry standards
– Customer-centric point of view
– Sharp attention to detail
– Data-driven decision-making skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Meticulous and diligent attributes
– English proficiency is a plus
– Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
