We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Internal Audit Supervisor to oversee and enhance our internal audit function.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive audit plans, conduct risk assessments, and execute audit procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards within the travel sector.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement, cost reduction, and risk mitigation, and provide recommendations for enhancement.
Financial Auditing: Perform financial audits to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including revenue, expenses, and budgeting.
Internal Controls: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures, and make necessary recommendations for improvements.
Reporting: Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations for management review.
Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the internal audit team, ensuring their professional development and adherence to audit standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments and teams to drive a culture of accountability and transparency, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related academic field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent).
A minimum of 5 years of relevant internal auditing experience, preferably in the travel industry.
Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar qualifications will be highly regarded.
Thorough understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
Proficiency in audit software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
