Build a robust, scalable infrastructure to meet our software needs
Provide infrastructure needed to maintain multiple Dev/test environments, ensuring each environment is consistently set up, configured, and available for each release as scheduled
Experience working with APIs and Microservices (Docker / Kubernetes).
A strong desire to innovate and build comprehensive solutions that other DevOps engineers inside the team and across the organization can leverage. Any creative work in the following areas is helpful: serverless application development, monitoring for microservices, chaos engineering or feature toggling, A/B testing, performance testing.
Trace complex build problems, release issues, and environmental issues
Work efficiently and effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Think strategically, investigate, and act tactically. You have solid judgment and know when to escalate
Requirements
Expert in scripting (Bash, Python, Bash, PHP, or similar languages)
Proven experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar)
Proficient with software configuration management tools (GIT or similar)
Ability to create CI/CD pipelines (gitlab or similar)
Experience using/creating build tools (Maven, Ant, Gradle or similar)
Skilled in developing/programming Java
Solid understanding and practical experience with software development life cycles (Agile) with emphasis on release engineering functions
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred experience with AWS
Ability to verbalize and communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences. Experience working with remote resources.
Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks as well as give assignments with Project Management tools.
Ability to think strategically and be innovative in a team-oriented environment. Strong critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
5+ years applicable networking operations / engineering experience; previous experience with SSL Certificate management, DNS, TCP/IP, and Firewall Configuration highly valued.
