Servant leader focused on maximizing the throughput of a team and helping them become more effective by ensuring adherence to an agile framework (scrum, Kanban, etc.) and the application of appropriate principles and practices
Facilitate agile ceremonies and coach the team and organization; foster transparency, inspection, and adaption
Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement. Manages interdependencies between agile teams
Partner with the Product Owner to enable short and long-term sprint and release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution
Shield the team from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity
Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges)
Foster close cooperation across all team members; encourages cross-training and team support
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems may be raised without fear of reprisal
Administer metrics tracking and other means in order to aid team in overall planning and team throughput
Cultivate a team culture/environment of continuous learning and improvement
Bachelor`s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in agile software development including coaching on agile methodologies
Knowledge of software development and relevant domains/products
Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards
Ability to coach team and stakeholders on agile practices and ensure adherence to agile methodology
Able to resolve conflicts; strong mediation skills. Strong communication skills, to deliver complex messages and teach new concepts
Strong problem solver with ability to coach and mentor a team to maximize progress and potential
Responsibilities:
Will work closely with our Product Owners to plan sprints and create metrics for management.
Will lead the daily ceremonies and be an Agile coach for the development teams.
Will contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
Scrum Master Certification from a recognized Agile Trainer
Experience developing mobile applications and web applications
Experience with development teams that are supporting CI/CD pipelines
Experience using Azure, Rally, JIRA or other tools for Agile Project Management
Experience teaching teams how to improve their refinement meetings, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
Well versed with restaurant point of sales systems and/or HungerRush products
Experience working collaboratively with Product and IT teams to support development and software delivery.
Use of Microsoft Azure DevOps for Agile Project Management
Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills.
