Title: Web Design Lead & Pod Owner (Wix & WordPress) - Remote
Company: Adicator Digital Marketing Agency Limited

About Us: Adicator is a premium Canadian digital architecture firm. We don't just build websites; we assemble automated "Digital Employees" for SMBs. We operate with a small, globally distributed team of highly specialized pods.

The Role: We are looking for a Web Design Lead to take complete ownership of our Adicator Pod (our web design and rapid-assembly division).

To be successful in this role, you must excel at three specific things:

High-End Design: You are a UI/UX expert with a premium visual portfolio.
Wix Studio & WordPress: You know how to visually build and execute your designs directly on these two platforms.
Team Management: You know how to lead a squad of designers, allocate tasks, and manage project timelines.

This is a "Player-Coach" role. You will lead client-facing web strategy sessions, manage our UI/UX design squad, and take ultimate responsibility for the pod’s visual output and usability. While your core focus is high-end design and team leadership, you must also be ready to roll up your sleeves and jump into Figma, Wix Studio, or WordPress to execute the creative vision alongside your team.

(Note: While this is a design-first role, a working knowledge of front-end coding and technical SEO is considered a strong advantage.)

Key Responsibilities:

Client Translation & Architecture: Lead visual sitemap and web strategy sessions. Translate the client’s brand vision into stunning visual briefs, UI/UX wireframes, and actionable design tasks for web and mobile.
Pod Leadership & Task Management: Act as the ultimate project owner for the web design division. Schedule tasks, allocate sprint points in our Task Management system (Asana), and ensure rapid, high-quality delivery timelines from your designers.
Quality Control & SOPs: Define and enforce the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Adicator pod. Conduct rigorous QA audits on all staging sites (ensuring pixel-perfect UI, seamless mobile responsiveness, and intuitive user journeys) before deployment.
Team Mentorship: Train, educate, and elevate the web designers in your pod. Act as the creative director, guiding the team to produce premium, modern aesthetics.
Hands-On Execution: You are the captain, not just a manager. You will actively design in Figma/Adobe XD and jump directly into Wix Studio and WordPress to help with the heavy lifting of the visual assembly.

Requirements:

Native-Level English: You must be able to lead video sessions with North American clients and our CEO with absolute fluency, confidence, and consultative authority.
Design Mastery: Master-level knowledge of modern web design, mobile app design, and deep UI/UX principles. You must have a portfolio demonstrating premium visual aesthetics.
Wix Studio & WordPress Experience: Proven experience designing and visually assembling responsive websites specifically on Wix Studio and WordPress.
Agile Leadership: Proven experience managing a design team, running task management systems, and holding designers accountable to strict timelines and quality standards.
