Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our AI team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models for AI-powered trading bots. This includes quantitative predictive modeling for trading strategies as well as integrating and fine-tuning LLMs for tasks like market sentiment extraction, real-time decision reasoning, and multi-agent trading systems. The role combines quantitative finance, machine learning, and generative AI to drive profitable, automated trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Research, develop, and implement machine learning models for algorithmic trading, including signal generation, price prediction, risk management, and optimal execution strategies.
Design and build AI trading bots using time-series forecasting, reinforcement learning, and ensemble methods.
Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze unstructured data (news, social media, financial reports) for sentiment analysis, event detection, and generating trading insights.
Fine-tune and deploy LLMs (e.g., via frameworks like LangChain, Llama, or GPT variants) for agentic workflows, such as reflection-driven or debate-driven trading agents.
Perform backtesting, evaluation, and optimization of trading strategies using historical and real-time market data.
Collaborate with engineers to productionize models, ensuring low-latency inference and integration into live trading systems.
Conduct data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis on large financial datasets (tick-level data, alternative data sources).
Monitor model performance in production, implement risk controls, and iterate based on live trading results.
Stay updated on advancements in ML for finance (e.g., RL for trading) and generative AI (e.g., RAG systems for grounded LLM decisions).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field (PhD preferred).
1+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, ideally in finance, trading, or fintech.
Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
Experience with time-series analysis, predictive modeling, and backtesting frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP techniques, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or RAG systems.
Familiarity with financial markets, trading concepts (e.g., alpha generation, market impact, volatility modeling), and data sources (e.g., Bloomberg, Polygon, crypto APIs).
Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning).

Preferred Skills

Experience building or researching AI trading agents/bots (e.g., using LLMs for sentiment-driven trading or multi-agent systems).
Knowledge of high-frequency or algorithmic trading strategies.
Proficiency in SQL, big data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
Background in quantitative finance or crypto markets.
Publications or contributions to open-source projects in ML/finance/LLMs is a plus.

Work Location & Schedule:

Company Location: Fatemi St., Jahad Square, Tehran, Iran
Workplace Policy: Full-Time - Onsite
Worktime: Sunday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with 2 hours of flexibility
Remote day: Tuesday
