Technical Article Writer
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and responsible technical writer to join our successful team and help drive our next phase of growth. The salary is fully negotiable depending on your qualifications.
Role Requirements:
- Capable of simplifying complex technical information.
- Capable of advanced performance, stability and alike bench-marking (ex. Roundcube vs SquirrelMail: Which one is faster?) (as an advantage)
- Strong research skills: Gathering technical information from primary and secondary sources.
- Terrific skills in screenshot-taking and cool animated GIFs making (we use SnagIt)
- Passion for learning
- Effective and constructive teamwork skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the field along with a certain track record of success and performance.
- Excellent communication skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Producing clear and concise how-tos, troubleshooting articles, knowledge-based topics and other documentation (all in English) to help the customers use our products (Windows or Linux VPS) and also help them with 3rd party self-hosted apps like TeamSpeak.
- Simplifying services for non-technical users and help them understand the fundamental concepts with regard to our product.
- Clarifying which services suit each customer and how to get them up and running.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentations (in English) effectively and concisely for both technical and non-technical users.
