Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  2. Dashboard & Reporting: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Kibana, Superset, or Metabase to communicate performance and strategic metrics.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, partnerships) to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
  4. Performance Metrics: Define and monitor KPIs for various teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  5. Data Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  6. Forecasting & Budgeting: Use statistical techniques and models to forecast trends and support budgeting decisions.
  7. Process Optimization: Partner with teams to evaluate campaigns, partnerships, and operations, providing recommendations to improve ROI and efficiency.
Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and management.
  • Skilled in Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn) or R for advanced data manipulation and visualization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Kibana, or Metabase.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline tools like  BigQuery.
Analytical Mindset:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an intuitive understanding of numerical relationships.
  • Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Ability to design performance metrics and evaluate business processes.
Collaboration & Communication:

  • Effective communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work across departments to align goals and deliver solutions.
Experience:

3+ years in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
