You will be responsible for overseeing the entire QA process. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your role will involve developing and implementing QA strategies, managing a team of QA engineers, and continuously improving our QA processes. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving the adoption of best practices in software quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the QA team
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures and policies
- Defining test strategies, plans, and scenarios based on the requirements gathered from project stakeholders
- Reviewing and analysing technical requirements, test plans, and test cases for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Conducting QA audits to identify areas for improvement and apply corrective measures
- Ensuring that all products delivered meet the organisation’s quality expectations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Great experience with manual and automated testing approaches and tools (Selenium or similar tools)
- Familiarity with mobile app automated tests and environment is a huge plus
- Exposure to testing software applications across multiple platforms and operating systems
- Proficiency in test management tools
- Good understanding of programming languages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
