The Senior Tech Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and present good candidates for technical positions, collaborating with hiring managers to set realistic technical requirements. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled. • Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions. • Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates. • Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective job boards. • Sourcing potential candidates from different channels such as social networks, job boards, referrals, or any other innovative channels. • Screening applicants for competency with the job requirements and connects qualified candidates with hiring managers. • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications. • Performing pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities. • Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications. • Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates. • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace. • Recognizing future hiring requirements and improving job descriptions and specifications. • Cooperating with department directors to compile a consistent list of demands. • Supporting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a tremendous professional opportunity and take effective actions to improve the employer's brand.
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter. • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and employment laws and regulations. • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles. • Familiarity with HR databases, like ATS. • Deep technical knowledge of various Engineering and Product roles and a solid understanding of market/competitive trends. • Persuasion skills for headhunting the right persons and affecting their career decisions. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Hands-on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks. • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks. • Good interpersonal and decision-making skills. • Good English language skills.
