About the role
The Lead Product Designer is a hands-on design leader responsible for delivering high-impact product work while helping other designers succeed.
You will lead complex product initiatives, shape product direction, and maintain a high bar for experience quality. At the same time, you will provide design direction, critique, mentorship, and alignment across the team.

What you'll do

Design and deliver
Own complex and strategically important product initiatives end to end.
Work directly with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to shape problems and product direction.
Navigate ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions, and help teams identify the right problems to solve.
Explore, prototype, test, and deliver high-quality experiences.
Own the quality and coherence of the experience within your product area.
Use research, data, and experimentation to inform and evaluate design decisions.
Contribute to and evolve shared patterns and the design system.
Stay involved through implementation, launch, and iteration.

Lead and support designers
Provide regular design direction, critique, and actionable feedback.
Help designers frame problems, strengthen their product thinking, and improve the quality of their work.
Maintain a high bar for quality and coherence across the team's design work.
Identify risks, inconsistencies, and experience gaps early.
Facilitate alignment across designers working on connected experiences.
Help designers navigate complex product decisions and stakeholder conversations.
Mentor designers and help them become increasingly capable and independent.
Partner with design leadership to raise the team's overall design quality and capability.
