Job Description
Data Engineer
We're hiring a Data Engineer.
We are looking for a data engineer to build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for financial market applications. This role is open to junior and mid-level candidates.

This role is focused on practical engineering impact.
The ideal candidate enjoys building reliable, well-structured data systems that power analytics, machine learning, and real-time decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines for financial and market dataDevelop ETL/ELT workflows for ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery of dataModel, structure, and optimize data storage across databases,
data warehouses, and data lakesEnsure data quality, integrity, and correctness across all pipelinesSupport ingestion and processing of real-time market dataHelp monitor pipelines and troubleshoot data issues in productionCollaborate with AI engineers, backend engineers, and research teams to deliver clean, analysis-ready dataRequired SkillsStrong Python programming skills and ability to write clean, maintainable codeStrong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar)Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines or data workflowsUnderstanding of data modeling, schema design, and query optimizationFamiliarity with a distributed data processing framework such as Apache Spark (or similar)
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and good technical communication skillsNice to HaveExperience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow,)Experience with streaming platforms such as Apache KafkaFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Interest in financial markets and time-series data
