Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our product team. This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their product career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow into a Product Manager role.
You will work closely with the Product Manager and collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and QA engineers. Initially, you will support product operations across multiple product areas, including website, admissions, onboarding, Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and other administrative functions of the Institute..
Over time, you will take increasing ownership of features and product areas, contributing directly to the development of high-quality educational experiences for learners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Execution Support: Assist in day-to-day product operations, ensuring smooth coordination between development, design, and QA teams.
Backlog Management: Help maintain and prioritise the product backlog, write clear user stories, and ensure tasks are ready for development.
Agile Participation: Support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and productive.
Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to collect, clarify, and document product requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Communicate effectively with engineering, design, and QA teams to track progress and remove blockers.
Product Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including feature descriptions, workflows, and internal guides.
User & Market Insight: Assist in analysing user feedback, product performance, and EdTech trends to inform decisions.
Quality & Release Support: Collaborate with QA and assist in validating features before release.
Learning & Growth: Continuously develop product management skills under the guidance of the Product Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field (internships included).
Strong interest in product management, technology, and EdTech.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to break down problems and think analytically.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Good written and spoken English.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred but not required):
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, or similar project management platforms.
Understanding of UX/UI principles.
Exposure to EdTech, LMS/VLE platforms, or higher education systems.
