Sales Manager Job Description 



  • Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and operationally strong Sales Manager to lead and optimize our international student recruitment sales operations across multiple global markets.

This is not a traditional sales role focused only on closing deals. The ideal candidate must be capable of building, structuring, and managing scalable sales operations from the ground up.


The ideal candidate is highly operational, analytical, organized, and process-oriented, with hands-on experience managing complex sales pipelines and performance-driven teams.


Since all departments within the organization communicate and operate primarily in English, professional-level English communication skills are mandatory for this role. The selected candidate will work closely with international teams across sales, admissions, operations, CRM, marketing, and management on a daily basis.


  • Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and continuously optimize end-to-end sales processes

Build scalable lead qualification, prioritization, and conversion systems

Improve sales funnel efficiency and conversion rates

Develop structured follow-up workflows and operational systems for the sales team

Create accountability frameworks and operational standards

Improve response time management and lead handling efficiency

Lead, structure, train, and develop international sales and educational consulting teams

Set KPIs, operational targets, and performance standards

Monitor team performance and provide coaching and guidance

Build a performance-driven and organized sales culture

Ensure proper follow-up discipline and operational consistency across teams

Work closely with CRM and operations teams to improve automation and reporting systems

Support the implementation of scalable CRM-based sales infrastructure

Improve workflow efficiency and operational processes

Identify operational bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions

Help structure lead management and pipeline visibility systems

Monitor KPIs, conversion metrics, response times, and operational performance

Analyze sales data and team performance reports

Make data-driven operational improvements and strategic decisions

Track pipeline efficiency and identify conversion gaps across different markets


  • Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales management and team leadership

Strong hands-on experience with CRM platforms and pipeline management systems

Experience designing and implementing sales operations and workflows from scratch

Experience managing high-volume lead environments and structured lead conversion operations

Strong analytical and operational thinking skills with a data-driven management approach

Ability to structure, train, and manage sales teams within fast-paced operational environments

Professional-level English communication skills are mandatory, both written and verbal, as English is the primary working language across all teams and departments

Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Previous experience in international education, student recruitment, admissions, immigration, or related industries is highly prefered
